Held during Mountain View’s major festivals, the Artisans Market is a juried show and sale featuring fine art, contemporary arts and crafts, heritage arts, folk arts, and local handicrafts.
Our next Artisans Market will be held October 24-25 during the 26th Annual Bean Fest and Great Arkansas Championship Outhouse Race. The Artisans Market will be on Peabody Avenue on the east side of the Stone County Courthouse. Stroll among the booths as you listen to music playing on the courthouse lawn. On Saturday, cooking teams will tend about 30 large pots of pinto beans to be served at noon. Hilarious outhouse races will follow in the afternoon.
The Artisans Market on the Square is organized by the Mountain View Area Artisans Council, representing the Arkansas Craft Guild, Mountain View Art Guild, Ozark Folk Fiber Guild, Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour, Ozark Folk Center and Mountain View Area Chamber of Commerce.
